Kasipul Kabondo Mp Mrs Eve Obara is a bitter woman after the Alumni Association of Got-Rateng Secondary School demanded accountability over the CDF funded projects in the school.

The Mp has threatened to influence the transfer of the school’s principal whom he termed a traitor for colluding the Allumni.

According to available records, the school received funding to facilitate the building of a modern science Laboratory. So far the Lab is marked as complete but what is on the ground is just a shell of a hall. “There are no taps, let alone water, no gas piping and connection just the monument” said the Alumni Organising Secretary.

Our Uji Moto investigation agency has also learnt that inferior materials we used in making the making of the Lab. Torn out tables, cracks on the wall and worn out paint in just a matter of under 2 years.

It is very ridiculous to complete a project on paper, but on the ground vitu ni different. In this era of an enlightened society, the Alumni has vowed not to leave any stone unturned until they reach the bottom of the matter.

Got Rateng school started as a Village school founded by the community living around Kadongo Trading centre two and a half decades ago.

The school has over the years received support from various donors the main one being the Anglican Church and previous CDF regimes.

With this history therefore, the Alumni forms an integral part of the school as they all share a common background being children of the peasants of Kabondo.

It is said that her war with the school has arisen as a matter of inter clan disputes catalyzed by some members of her CDF especially from the education committee. The waring clans are the Kasewe and Kowidi communities.

The school is renown to produce best results every exam cycle. The school has produced cohorts of professionals ranging from Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, Engineers, Accountants, Security Journalists, Transporters, Farmers amongst many other field shakers.

The Alumni is therefore up to the task to ensure every penny is used as per the documented project papers.

As to who will blink first… Time will tell
